Hi hon Your partner may be reluctant to have sex as many men can't over the feeling that they'll somehow 'poke' or damage the baby! Sounds daft but it can be like a mental block! I doubt it's your changing shape x May be you need to pick a moment when you think you won't get upset and talk to him? I think in terms of contributing anything to the pregnancy men don't connect to the pregnancy like we do as they're not experiencing all the physical aspects of it - I know my OH only seemed to get excited when he first saw bubs move and even that has worn off now ; ) He says he thinks it will only hit home when the baby is born so may be it's the same with your fella? Pregnancy is a crazy time as our hormones are all over the show too - may be this is making you feel more upset about things? Try and talk to your OH but may be when neither of you are tired or stressed xxx
hey thanks for that, i wasnt sure if it was normal but suppose if other mums to be are experiancing this then it must be, my fella was all excited with the first movements but same has worn of already. but thanks for the support i can now go have a peacfull nights sleep :) xx

hi anonymous
most men avoid sex in the last trimester due to fear of harming the baby,i really wouldn,t worry too much as i went through that myself,my partner didn't really get involved in the pregnancy but when the baby arrived he was very attentive, hope this helps also the later stage of pragnancy is difficult as we tend to have so many emotions flying around
good luck
all the best and keep us postedxx
