Episiotomy pain?

My baby is 7 months old now and where the stitches from my episiotomy was still really hurt. There is also a flap of skin where they were (tmi)! Sex is completely out of the question and it's getting me really down! Anyone else had this problem?

Hi I've just caught your thread. I'll be honest I've never given birth (I'm nearly 36 weeks preg with first) let alone had an episiotomy. Surely after 7 months any soreness should have gone? I'd hot foot it to your docs and explain the situation. May be there is still bruising or deeper healing happening under the surface stitching? I'd get it looked at as at least you can rule out any probs and take it from there : ) Don't suffer get it seen to, 7 months is a long time to be in pain and not have rumpy pumpy xxx
