agree totally! i know sum1 who has readin n writing probs! shes my age (31) she has kids n she has her own business! so y on earth do they want to do this 2 this poor girl is beyond me! gud on them 4 runnin away! dont blame them! i really feel 4 them! x
Exactly its not about how clever you are is it, you dont get qualifications on how to love someone and care for them lol, they should be helping kids who are gettin beaten and abused, but by the time they realise those kids need help its to late coz they are on someone elses case, someone who dont need it...I hope they get to keep the baby. I would be fuming if i was them xx
It's terrible isn't it!!!!! If your a smack head they'll help you, if your born with a learning difficulty (something beyond your control) your babies are in danger of being taken away. People choose to do drugs and abuse children they do not choose to be born disabled.
especially in cases where all they need is someone to just help and guide them through it all a bit!
i knew a girl who this actually happened too. she's got mild learning disabilities, and she has had two babies taken away, one at 6 months and one at birth. she has never been given much in the way of support! social services would rather help drug addicts get clean and peodophiles reform than help people who could genuinely benefit! the whole system is a complete mess!

Just thought this was awful as there doesn't seem to be a valid reason for taking her child away. They seem to be a couple who care about each other and their unborn child. It says in the article that they have a supportive family that are willing to help them. They seem to have a lot more than some people who bring children into this world. Think the social workers are just lazy and can't be bothered to give her a social worker to help her. Yet they seem to leave children in danger with abusive parents all the time. If she didn't have a mild learning difficulty she wouldn't even be on their radar. I really don't blame them for running away, it's just such a shame they've had to leave there home and family.
no1 has the right to say weather your gunna be a gd mum or not im nt the cleverist of people but dusent meen im not goin to be a good mum you dont have to brainey to have a bby i would do everything i could to stop them from takin my baby if i was her no1 will ever take my bby they wud have to kill me first

I feel so sorry for them, why can't they help children who need it rather than take them away from someone because they have mild learning difficulties!!!...Its ridiculous...I dont blame them for running away, they should be getting help not having thier baby taken away!!
