Newbie needs help :)

Hii, im new to gurgle, i'm 28 weeks pregnant with a little girl :) i was jw if anyone could help me... i went for my 28 week check up and my midwife measured bump and she's measuring 25.5cm, she's giving me untill 31 weeks and if there isnt a change she's going to arrange another scan for us. Now, i think it may be something to do with my diet & was wondering if anyone knew a internet calculater or a website that could help me out as ive been struggling all day! i was 10 stone when i found out i was pregnant, due to morning sickness i went down to 9 stone at about 3 months, i'm now 7 months pregnant and have put that stone back on, so i'm now 10 stone again. its really confused me cause i dont know whats baby and whats my weight, do i class myself as 9 stone before pregnancy when trying to figure out my bmi or as 10 stone, if 10 stone then i've put nothing on :S. Anyone that could help? or offer any advice? Thank you :) xxxxx

You gain approximately: 1st trimester (0-12 weeks): 1-2kg (2-4lb) if nausea hasn't been a problem of which only 48g (1.7oz) will be your baby the rest is the support system. 2nd trimester (13-28 weeks): 6Kg (12lb) of which only 1Kg (2lb) will be your baby the rest is support system. 3rd trimester (29-birth): 5Kg (10lb) of which 3-4Kg (6-8lb) will be your baby the rest is support system. I'd go from the 9 stone you where at around 12 weeks, your baby was still growing and healthy at the 12 weeks even if you where losing weight (I lost weight in the 1st 12 weeks too) so the weight you've put on since is no doubt baby related, if you've put on around a stone (14lb) in that time and your now 28 weeks your about bang on target. Bump measurements as a means to determine your baby's size are notoriously inaccurate as its hard enough for them to correctly estimate when their going by a scan with an actual picture of your baby! x
