hi. shes 16 months, banged her head 2 days ago (only fell from sitting on floor on a cusion lost balance) she was fine after a minute and went to bed fine. she was sick yesterday morning and then was fine all day, ate a bit yest afternoon but think she ate too much coz her tummy was a bit tender still and she was sick again, then she woke at 10pm and was sick again. she hasnt been sick since but she has had a couple of cases of diarohea. any way she has been absolutly fine in herself, playing, chattering, pupils are fine, no signs of her being ill exept just being a bit clingy. she has put her hand to her ear a few times so unsure if she has a head / ear ache. any way im sure its a bug as she wouldnt have the diarohea if she was sick from banging her head would she?
thanks for your help / advice xx
thanks for that guys, i have rang nhs direct as i figured theres no harm done if its nothing and saves me worrying all night. they said its possible it was concussion but as its been 48 hours she should be fine. but most likely its a little bug and just make sure she drinks etc. said they dont think i should take her to a and e but ring if she has anymore symptoms.
thanks for all your help :)
xXx

Take care and hope yr little one feels better soon x
ps one tip for checking if they have a tummy bug is if the diariah smells sour..( lol) it is what a doc told me and I have to say it is true in most cases xx
Hi hun, I would say she has a bug. If it was the bang on her head causing her trouble then she would've been sick almost straight away and like you say, it wouldn't cause her to have diarrohea. Just keep a close on her and give her plenty of fluids which Im sure you are anyway. Give her calpol if you still think she may have head/ear ache and try some diaroralyte sachets if the diarrohea continues. The fact she seems well in herself is a good sign but if start to think shes getting distressed then take her to get checked out at the docs. Hope your little one is better soon x
