Mother and Baby Car Parking Spaces!

Is it me or does anyone else find parking the car at the supermarket/multistorey car park really stressfull? If all of the Mother and Baby spaces are full I feel I'm stuffed! I cannot get my baby out of the car unless I am on the end of an isle and so go round and round trying to find a suitable space. I really get annoyed when I see people with kids who are practically at secondary school still use these spaces - or even worse have no kids at all!!! There always seem to be loads of disabled spaces and never enough Mother/Baby ones. Does anyone else agree?

I totally agree with this thread and have thought it for some time. Safety is an issue too as if you don;t park in the mother and baby spaces and have to park elsewhere you are likely to be quite far from the supermarket door so have to get the kids out with cars whizzing around, or unpack the trolley and look after the kids where it's not so safe. I always see people parking in these places who have no kids and they ignore why the spaces are there in the first place. And yes, there are always so many disabled places , mostly empty! Also in town there are loads of disabled places and you can use the disabled badge to park anywhere but mums get no help whatsoever... as you can see this is an issue that has ANGERED me for ages! Glad i'm not the only one...
Anyone fancy yelling ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
....and breath!!!
That's better!

yeah i agree everyweek i go to asdas shopping and never do i get a mother and baby space and iv got 2 in booster seats and 1 in carseat also 28 weeks pregnant. I hope im not upsetting anyone by saying this but i find a lot of disable badge holders use mother and baby spaces and that seems fine but if it was the other way round it would be wrong.
I totally agree with the disabled badge holders comment too!
I'm sure there are more people with babies than disabled people so why oh why are there always the same amount of spaces for each - and never enough of them!!!!
The problem is not being close to the shop but being able to get the baby/kids out of the car without clouting the car next door!!!!
Wider parking spaces would help!!!!
