i am 36+4 weeks and my midwife told me the baby is breech but today i have been getting really bad tightening pains at the top of my uterus which hurts no matter what i do but more when i stand or try to walk it is giving me back ache too it is not constant but keeps coming and going i have got two other children but never had anything like this before.
i can still feel her little movements.
please can some one help me understanhat theses pains are
Im no expert as this is first pregnancy but my friends baby was breech at 30 plus weeks and she had bad pains which we thought were braxton hicks bless her next time midwife checked Angel was head down and engaged she had turned herself round. little monkey lucky for her mummy though maybe your lo is turning?? Maybe it is brxton hicks or perhaps early labour if your worried go to midwife an let us know how you get on :) xx

Sounds like Braxton Hicks to me hunni. These are 'practice' contractions to prepare your body for labour and birth. They can be extremely painful (mine were). If you are at all worried speak to your midwife, LO is obviously very active!! Good luck x
