Thanks everyone! I'm reassured that it is the start of teething and not still this silent reflux problem that has been torturing her! She has been in much better form 2day and slept better thank goodness but still suckin away on the fists and goin mad for the dummy. Will get the powders when out and about 2moro and report back!
Toby-JAke showed no signs of teethin and woke with 4 at 4n half month, Farrell-Quinn on the other hand nightmare i had with him started teethin at 8 weeks acordin to hv n didnt cut 1 till he was 9 n half month! n suffered really bad, there 6 n 3 now so its going back abit but i feel 4 u! x

My son was 17 weeks on Saturday, and he started teething at around 8/9 weeks. FINALLY, that tooth has made its way round to the front, so fingers crossed it will appear in a couple of weeks.
I asked HV when I took him for his jabs at 12 weeks, and she said it can take 3 months for the first tooth to actually appear.
Im using nelsons teething granules, which he seems to love, and they are certainly helping. We have had to give him calpol on a couple of occassions, but only when he's hurting himself chewing his own hands!!
Not an awful lot you can do except stick it out unfortunately!

I see ur wee one is a week older than Hope. hope all is going well with her and u r enjoyin motherhood for the 2nd time. Happy mothers day! J x
i'm glad u asked this, my 8 weeks old has been the same for the last 2 days, and i've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out whats up with her, but she keeps chewing her fist and her sleeve and wants to feed constantly only to throw it up again 5 minutes later cause shes already full, tried her with a dummy eventually yesterday (never usually bother cause she hates them and spits em straight back out) and she took to it straight away which i thought was a bit strange! do u reckon it could be?
