Hiya, when i was pregnant with my son i had my scan early too, and he looked like a peanut with stumps lol :) i thinks its best then you will kow everything is ok, but you will have another later on when you can find out the sex if you want too.. :)
its early cus its a dateing scan,its so they can find out how far gone you are,not every1 has them just women who arnt sure how far gone they are.you usualy have just the one, the 20 week on to make sure everything is ok and to find out the sex of the baby.no it wont be internalyi dont think, it will just be a normal scan .hope this helps
oh and they normally ask you to have a full bladder so they can do the scan on your belly but if your bladder is not full enough then yes it will be internally.. :)
I have just been invited to my first scan, a nuchal dating scan. But i will only be about 8 weeks when i go to it, why is it so early, i thought you have them at 12 and 20 weeks? Also because its early will they do it internally?
