I was told my baby has tongue-tie and that she'll grow out of it. Has anyone else been told this and what does it mean?
I was told my baby had tongue tie and I couldn't breastfeed him or anything. He grew out of it really quickly and now it doesn't affect him inthe slightest and he has a healthy appetite.

Tongue-tie is a birth defect that babies are born with and occurs when the lingual frenulum (the cord which attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth) is shorter, tighter and more restrictive than normal.
