Potty Training Advice

Hiya, my LO is 21 months and has been showing for some time that she is ready for potty training. I have brought her some pants and the potty has been around for a while so she is used to seeing it. Today I started potty training but it was terrible and she didn't use the potty once...although she made upsy daisy go weewee on it about 100 times lol. She has used it for my mum when I was in hospital having her brother 4 weeks ago but I am clueless. Pleaseeeeee help!!!! xx

im going to start my lo in the next couple of weeks. he is 2 and 7 months, and has started to show signs of being ready. He starts a pre-school 2 mornings a week in September and our twins are due around xmas so would be great to have him all sorted by then. Ive got a week with no plans so we can stay at home as much as possible rather than him having accidents out and about all day.

hiya hun, my son is coming 4 soon, he was potty trained at 16months, it's really good your little girl is making her teddy go, that's what i did with my son. have you tried taking your daughter to the toilet when you go? it really helped my son watching his dad go, best thing to do is make it as fun as possible, mine loved to stick loads of stickers on his potty,it makes it more eye catching to them also give your daughter a sticker every time she successfully uses potty to encourage her. good luck with the potty training but don't worry if it takes longer then you hope, she willl learn when shes ready and willing, don't wear yourself out and congulations on the birth of your baby boy :D

my daughter is now 2 and a half and i tried and tired to potty train her even though she was showing signs and sometimes even asking to go for a wee!! but never did anything my newborn is now 18 days old and when i was in hospital having her my mum had my 2 year old when i came out she had used the potty all day!!! and has done ever since!!! i dont know what nannie did that was different to what i was doing!!! now the summer is coming (so we have been told) try just leaving her run round the garden in just knickers and a t shirt with the potty outside with her! she will get it just takes time!! xxxx
