Hi, yes breast pumps do exactly that: for most mum's it's after each feed to 'stock pile'!, they can be hand held or electric. Which ever one you opt for takes practice. You'll have chance to talk to your midwife about your options once pregnant and there are now loads of local breast feeding support groups about you may find your local one also informative and supportive. This is a bit of a strange one. Me and my husband are trying for a baby at the moment. Only thing that's playing on my mind is this; I really want to give my baby my own milk but feel weird actually feeding from my breasts. You never know, when the baby is born I might change how I think but I have seen these breast pump things to suck your own milk out into bottles. Is it safe to do this all the time whenever the baby needs feeding?
