Hi Susannahr - I am 11 weeks pregnant, and have been on gurgle for 3 weeks now - its brilliant, I have had so many of my worries answered here - its like a little club! I hope you continue to feel great through your pregnancy.
I've just found out I'm pregnant! so thrilled! I haven't got any pain or sickness yet but it's so nice to know that I can get reassurance on here.
I also had these from about 5 weeks until around 12 weeks and then the odd twinge after that, it really worried me at the time but it's totally normal and most women get them. The cramps are like period pains but I was so worried it was an ectopic pregnancy I went to the docs and she examined me and said it wasn't. If you have bleeding, severe pain or a pain in your shoulder (sounds odd I know, but is a symptom of ectopic) you should go to the docs.

This happened to me when I was first pregnant. My midwife explained to me that it was my uterus already changing shape and getting ready for pregnancy. Apparently it causes cramps very similar to period pain cramps (well that was what mine felt like). If there's no bleeding and the cramps are very mild like period pain I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. If the cramps continue or get stronger and more painful, or you start to bleed, go and see your GP immediately.
hi all i have just joined the site about 30 mins ago i am 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant am having cramps though no bleeding or anything just cramps here and there is that normal?
