i was a bit nervous of cutting my daughters nails when she was very little so the midwife just told us to bite them off ourselves as it was better as you could tell if you were about to cut a bit of skin. now she is a bit older we use the scissors, which can be quite hard sometimes when she decides she would rather wriggle.
my daughter is 15 weeks old and im scared to cut her nails as im scared of hurting her.. and when i do cut her nails she cries and wriggles and when she does im scared of catching her finger instead of her nail.. x

My son is 26 months old and hates getting his nails cut. It is too difficult to cut his nails while sleeping in his cot and so have had to cut them while he's sleeping in the car or in the pram which doesn't happen often enough now. I try to cut them after he has had a bath but he cries and wiggles so much. He hates having his hair cut too, what can I do about this?
