Hiya. My daughter is also 6 months old and I am in the same boat as you !
Our typical day is when she gets up I give her a bottle, about an hour later I give her a breakfast of baby rice. For lunch she gets mashed up veg (I think about the same as a 125g jar) and a fruit pot. At about 3.30 - 4pm she has a small bottle and then for dinner she has the same as lunch. Then before she goes to bed (anytime between 8 - 9pm)she has another bottle.
I offer her water throughout the day and she sometimes gets to suck on a slice of peach or strawberry in the afternoon.
Lisa is the same as your son as she doesn't cry for more if she finishes it all. The only thing to go by is that if they were really hungry they would cry to let you know and if you fed them too much they would probably throw it up !!She has also just started to sleep through the night so she's not waking up with hunger. Hope this lets you know that you're not the only one with this problem.
My son is 6 months and he is on 3 meals per day. I am very unaware of portion sizes for him and my health visitor says stop when he looses interest, the only problem is he doesnt. the food normally funs out first but he doesnt cry for more. Can anyone give me guidance to this please?
