Hi, thanks for your reply.........thought no body knew anything at all!!! My baby is a boy, and has complete kidney failure, and like you said is on special milk formula and lots of medicine. What hospital is your little one under?
Does anybody know anything about kidney failure? My baby is 14 weeks old tomorrow and was born with complete kidney failure. Hes on so much medication to do he job of his kidneys and has had 2 operations already. Ive been told he will need dialysis and a transplant at some point in his life, but we just dont know when.
Does anybody have any experience of babies/children with kidney problems?
My son was born with 1 small kidney that is not developed the way it should be, we are currently on medication and special formula and are watching him closely, we are taking it one day at a time he is only 4weeks and we believe that dialysis and a transplant could be later on. They can have a transplant at 12 months.
