Second pregnancy after first pregnancy c-section

We are currently trying to get pregnant with our second child. I really enjoyed my first pregnancy until the labour. Everything seemed to be going well until my waters were broken by the midwife. It then became apparent that everything was not ok and I ended up with an emergency c-section as it turned out the cord was around my son's neck 3 times. I know I am probably paranoid but ever since then I have had slight pains and twinges in my stomach/womb area and I worry that maybe there could be problems if I get pregnant again. Has anyone else been through this, or could you offer advice/comfort that I am probably ok and just over worrying myself.
