hi! i had cramping pains at 6 weeks too, i worried that i was losing my baby but the midwife said it was just my uterus expanding. i think the general rule is that if your not bleeding then you'll be alright. basically, if your going to miscarry theres nothing that anyone can do about it so you could just wait and see. however, if it was me id just ring the midwife quickly to get some reassurance. i remember the pains vividly it was horrible, made me feel so sick! they passed at 8 weeks though so hopefully that will happen for you too xx let me know how it goes with the midwife xx

I miscarried at 6 weeks recently - I had dull backpains and cramping on my right hand side - like period pains and Inevitably bleeding which lasted around 7 days.

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant (again to my suprise) and my lower belly has been tender - which I am told is my uterus expanding.

My advice to anyone who has any kind of cramping - whether it's sharp pains or just general aches is to consult your doctor as it's better to be safe than sorry. Slight bleeding may be implantation bleeding - which is light in colour (pink) and barely there - basically this is just the foetus bashing about in there trying to find a comfortable place to start growing. Anything that resembles a normal period needs to be checked out.

Other than that it's important to stay calm and relaxed - try and lead a stressfree and healthy life and enjoy your pregnancy - including the aches and nausea!!

I have experienced dull ache pains which are apparently normal. I however am going for an early scan tomorrow at 6 weeks to make sure everything ok as i have had slight bleeding. I am very apprehensive
