Hi there, my son of 8 weeks does the same. He will cry during feeds and is sometimes inconsolable. Sometimes I feel completely useless. We are trying gripe water and it helps a little. He sleeps on his stomach even though it is not recommended. He has begun to throw up after feeds sometimes. This usuallly means that he does not sleep in the afternoon at all and we go through hours of feed, nap, play, scream, feed. The crying can happen all of a sudden. Does this sound like wind? I burp him alot during feeds.
Hi all, we're having the same problem now... My LO will be 4 weeks' old on Sunday and has had colic for about 10 days now. He was on Infacol which didn't seem to help at all. Started him on colief the day before last - yesterday was amazing, we was so well... and then overnight and this morning it seems to have returned. We're giving water for his constipation too. I really hope this is just the adaptation period to colief and that soon I'll be able o join all the mums who said colief saved their babies! mxx
Hi - I had the ssame problem with my little girl, Colief really helped however I decided to try a homopath. After a few quick non-envasive tests he recommended a remedy which did wonders. Although there was the initial outlay for the consultation the remedy is much cheaper and far more effective than Colief.
Good luck - Ana

Hi there, thanks for super-quick reply! He's not sick at all after feeds, holds his milk down really well. Poo's kind of creamy - just that he really seems to struggle having one, and only has one every 24 hours. Could that be reflux? I'll look it up! i think he has a mix of constipation and colic...

Things are much much better, we have moved him over to C&G comfort milk and he is like a different baby :) He is so much more content and happier, which means mummy and daddy can relax and not stress so much that we couldnt help him !
