Hi there! Congrats on the pregnancy! Whilst I have been very lucky and not suffered morning sickness what so ever, my sister had a really severe dose of it when she was pregnant with my nefew. She ended up going to her gp and he was able to prescribe some medication to allivate it. The other thing she swore by was gingernut biscuits - 2 or 3 to help soothe the stomach. This was also what my father swore by when suffering severe nausea from chemo. Might be worth a try! Anyway good luck and hope you feel a little better!

I can honestly say,i know how you feel.Im 12+3 weeks pregnant, and from week 6,BANG the sickness hit me. 24 hours a day.I was tired and even spent 3 days in bed.I couldn't eat anything except,rich tea and digestive biscuits.They sometimes helped.Sipping water constantly helped also.Its still with me now,but comes and goes.I know its hard but eating small and often can settle you.So hard to eat when theres NOTHING in the world you fancy,all food makes gag.We just gotta remember its all in a good cause.I just hope im not a unlucky one who suffers 9 months of sickness.Im also going to speak to Midwife tom,when i have my scan,about the sickness meds they can give us.

hey! my sis suffered frm extremally bad mornin sickness! second time round shes managed 2 avoid it by wearing sickness travel bands! they seem 2 b doin the trick! hope this helps! xxxxx

Hi in my 1st preg I suffered night sickness felt fine during day, I just slept it off & nibbled on ginger buiscits & mango! after 3months it went & I felt great for rest of preg. I'm now 10 weeks preg & suffering morning sickness from 5am all day & night I feel dreadful my son is 7 months old so its very difficult but will be worth it in the end!! Hi I had morning sickness anytime of day it just came on me for know reason. I was sick for 4 months lost over 1 stone in weight im now 35 weeks pregnant and have only put 2Ib on so far, including putting the stone back on but im only 2Ib heavier that when I started, so there is pros to being sick. Midwife says my bump measures perfect I found nothing worked for me I just drank and ate what I wanted and if I was ill after I just had to deal with it. I felt great for the rest of my pregnancy once sickness had stopped and im just waiting now for baby to arrive. Bear with it it shouldnt last long

I am 7 weeks and been suffering sickness for the past week. This is my 4th pregnancy and this is the worst I've had sickness. It got so bad on friday that I could't even keep water down so went to the GP and they gave me some tablets but said if they didn't work I would have to go into hospital to have IV fluids to stop me getting dehydrated! Thankfully I feel a lot better today and have not been sick since yesterday evening!! The other thing was that the nurse said last time she was that sick during pregnancy she had twins!! fingers crossed it's not that for me!

Im sorry your suffering.Soon as i was 6 weeks BANG i suffered realy bad morning sickness,but it lasted all day and night,never easing up.I still suffer now,but it comes and goes throughout the day.I like you was told it may be twins,but my scan showed only one baby lol.Try not to worry.Keep your chin up,its all in a good cause is what i keep telling myself.It does knock you for six though,as i never felt this rough with my Son.Good luck,and i hope it passes soon for you. x x x
