Hi there! I had an op a few years before that meant the majority of my cervix was removed. It should mean that medical intervention would be required to get the sperm up there. It didn't work. Couple that with the fact that we are apparently "incompatible" (which is apparently more common than you think!!) and a slow sperm count, the odds were nil, basically.
So, we moved to a very expensive house, bought a brand new car each, a wjole new wardrobe, a really expensive holiday and tried to forget all about it. Except, 6 weeks after we moved in, we realised we were pregnant. My two seater car had to go back to the garage. Ha, ha!
I wouldn't change it for the whole world!! K x
Hiya! I was told 7 years ago that I was totally infertile. I now have two beautiful, healthy children without any medical intervention at all!!!
It took 4 years to get pregnant with my little girl as we weren't really trying, and just a month with my little boy. We called it the 3 day plan. We made sure we had "relations" every 3 days to keep a supply of fresh "swimmers" going regardless of my fertile days. It was a bit of a chore being so regimented to 3 days, but after a while it got to bo really funny.
A friend of mine tried the 3 day plan too and it worked for them.

when they said you were infertile, what did they say was the cause?
I've tried everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) and nothing worked. I even took out my tubes because the doctors said they were irreparably damaged and were the cause of the recurrent abdominal pains I had.
I got tired of the endless cycle of meds and shots and failures and adopted a baby who's now 4 months old. i will still try IVF since I have 6 lovely embryos.
I'm glad you proved the doctors wrong! Another victory for miracles!
