there must be, I can't believe she's not getting proffesional support, her pnd can't be left. Is a good job she's got a good friend in you to try and help. Hope it all works out.

thanks 4 gettin bak 2 me! yeah she has a healthe visitor, but cuz shes forces she said there isnt much she can do! lovely isnt it! i think i mite ask my health visitor & c wot she says! i feel so awful 4 her as iv got pnd 2! but shes got it in a different way 2 me! theres gotta b something out there that she can turn 2! xx

does she not have a health visitor hun? if she does am sure if she spoke to her she'll get the support she needs. or are there mother and baby groups in her area ie surestart if so that would be a good place for her to go to. it's free and they have alsorts of proffesionals attached to them. I have pnd so i can imagine what she maybe going through. It takes a lot to ask for help for it so tell her well done it's just a shame that she's been let down by the forces system. hope she finally gets the correct care she needs. best wishes

hi all! im after abit of advice for my friend whos in the military, she has a babyboy & has PND, thing is the military dosent have the support for women with this! her doctor which is a military doc, (as she cant have a regular doctor like we have due 2 being in the forces) just keeps giving her tablets to take & arent relly helping her! she is desperate toget sum proper help with this but doesnt know where she can turn to! does anyone know where someone in the forces can go & get the help they need?? would b very grateful for ur help as am worried about her & would like her to b able toget the support she needs! us mummys need 2 stick together!!! thanks all! xxxxx
