Threat of Redundancy

Hi, my husband and I have been trying for our second child. Up until recently he was very keen, but he recently found out that he could be being made redundant in the next couple of months. He is not the sort to stay at home if this is the case, he will seek out any sort of work and be bringing in money again. Unfortunately, because of this he has said we should stop trying for a baby. I was gutted. I am 37 years old and my biological clock is ticking, so to be put on hold, so to speak, has really upset me. I can see his point of view, but considering it takes a while to get pregnant anyway, plus the 9 months of being pregnant, I do not feel we should stop trying at least. He wont listen at present as obviously his thoughts are on his work situation. I just feel so frustrated with it all.
