it might be worth getting one just in case... or you can just boil everything. I breast fed but i did have a steriliser and I did use to to clean the pump and bottles if I expressed. I'ts nice to know you're prepared just in case

I"m due for my baby in 12 weeks time and am hoping to breastfeed. Do I need to buy a steriliser in case I can"t breastfeed or if I want to express milk?

I bought a steriliser when I was pregnant even tho I planned to breast feed. I now totally breast feed but use my steriliser for my breast pump and bottles to allow Daddy to feed. I'm also just about to start weaning so plan to use it for equipment for that too.......so well worth the investment! Good luck!

Hiya,

Im currently in the sme stage as you (26 weeks) with my first baby and i will do my best to breast feed, I have got a steriliser so that i can let others feed baby, also you know the bottles are safe to use after being in the steriliser. best to have one just in case.
