To be honest the NHS normally say if you have a high risk history of Downs they reconmend that you get tested... but every pregnancy is different so they will follow the same proceedure like your last pregnancy - have the test and give you the results and you make a decsion from there.

No. Unless you request one, or any of the 'none invasive'
screening tests (Nuchal translucency, blood tests) indicate a high risk
again. In both cases you will be counselled by your consultant before
the procedure.
I had a high risk of downs syndrome with my previous pregnancy, and had an amnio to rule it out. I'm pregnant again, and wondered if I will need another amnio for this baby?
