Hi everyone, thanks for answering my questions and giving such good advice, i've passed the info on to my hubby and hes got one of his thinking faces on...lol but he was also surprised about how nice and open the answers were, so thanks again xxx
I saw in Tesco yesterday a fertility testing kit that has 2 tests for woman and 2 tests for man. It was only £7 aswell!! If monitor doesnt work after 2 months, shall try this kit. Hope that helps x
I went to the doctor on Monday to request a blood test just to make sure everything was okay with me. I have to got back on day 21 of my cycle for the blood test. I said that i have been trying for 7 month (just a little white lie) and that i was concerned because i will be 37 in October. While i was there the doctor suggested that it might be a good idea for my partner all to checked.
He went to the doctor yesterday, collected his sperm kit. He has to not have sex or masburbate for at least 3 days before producing the sample, he then has to drop it off at our local hospital within 1 1/2hours. We have been told that the results should be back with the doctor within 7-10days.
I hope this helps. x
hey there i am going to buy fertility tests for me and Sam tomorrow you can get them on eBay for like £5 for women and £13 for men its well worth the try i think, and doing it on eBay its so discreet i hope all goes well anyway xxxx
Hi! I am feeling down today as it's the time of the month! Feeling mlow than ever before actually. My hubby and I have been trying for a baby for almost three years and although endless scans and tests reveal there is nothing wrong with either of us I am so sad it just isn't happening. I am frightened it won't happen for us! I would say to you regarding the sperm test that yes I am sure if you went to the doctors and requested a test they would do one but it may be worth saying you have been trying for a baby for longer say a year! They go through a procedure say gve you blood tests first and it can be long winded although saying that every area I believe is different I just know from experience that it is a long waiting game to have tests done and then be referred to hospital for scans e.t.c, that's obviously if you need them though. Fingers crossed it will happen on it's own for you, I just know how I feel and so I would say tell docs you been trying longer so they do something for you! Good luck, I wish you every happiness love Amie xx
Hi all,
How is everyone doing today?
I was wondering if any one had tried the sperm testing kits you can buy online. Or dose any one know if you can request a sperm test count to be done on the NHS, even if you have only been trying for a few months. My poor hubby is worried the years of motorbikes might not have been kind on his family jewels! Thanks all Amy x
