Hi. My baby is 23 weeks old and until the last week he did exactly the same each eve. We put it down to him tryin to tire himself out in the eve b4 bed. This last week he's calmed down tho. We've had him in an eve routine for few weeks now, and incorporated a 15 min massage in b4 his bath time. Don't think the massage has worked in the calming down way, and sometimes he cries half way thru it still, but he suddenly seemed to calm down in the eves. Maybe his teeth are starting to come or something. Someone suggested trying a baby swing as that's meant to calm them. We've not got one but that may be an idea!
I agree with massage! Also depending on her age you could always try her in a sling at that time of day so she is right next to you and you still have your hands free.
My baby used to cry ffom 8-10pm every night but Istarted to play classical music to him which helped .Also once he was 12weeks old I massaged him for a few minutes in the evening.Massaging really relaxes and also helps with colic and reflux.I even took a class to perfect my technique.I would highly recommend it.
My baby cries every evening around 5/6pm every day it can go on for hours unless we wrap it up with the dummy ?does anyone else have this im curious to know wny this happens so religiously daily
Hi, I know this wont be of much help, but a book I have refers to this time as "Arsenic Hour", for some reason some babies do cry at this time of day. My 20 week old has just started to, I have put this down to tiredness as she sleeps very little during the day. We just bear with it and put her up to bed at 7pm.
