Hi there, another one I have seen a lot is ttc - trying to conceive. I have also seen DH, DS and DD which mean husband, son and daughter. Not sure what the D at the beginning means tho, probably something really obvious.

Hi Amy, welcome to the world of Gurgle! So addictive its untrue! AF is Aunt Flo - your period, BFP is Big Fat Positive, BFN therefore is Big Fat Negative, FM is Fertility Monitor, cant think of anymore off the top of my head but hope this helps xx

Hi all, Being new to gurgle I’m struggle to know what all the abbreviations stand for. Such as “BFP” or “AF”. Can anyone tell me, and let me know of any others too so I don’t feel as lost! Thanks Amy xxx

I was the same when i first joined lol...BFP means Big Fat Positive, as in a pregnancy test and AF mean Aunt Flow which means your period xxx
