I have a very wilful young lady of 28 weeks and when she takes a notion to she will not let anyone hold her which is proving to be a bone of contention with my in-laws as Chloe screams at them when they hold her or if she is in her activty centre as soon as she is my arms she stops crying immediatly and smiles at them she's even like this with my Husband of an evening when she's a wee bit tired how do I improve the situation
My son is the same at 29 weeks if he has a temper and wont go to my partner, i give him the bottle and leave the room he soon goes to his dad as he cant see me then he wont want me. If he's in a really bad temper i put him on a mat on the floor and give him his toys and just leave him to it, as for the in laws sit with her on your knee next to them and she'll go when shes ready, you hald her but encourage them to play with her toys and hold her hand and she'll soon get used to them.
