Hi, I have a 12 week old son and for the past 3 or 4 days hes been really unsettled moaning crying and screaming mainly in the evening and sometimes he cant take his bottle and sicks half of it back up. He just cant seem to settle and doesnt nap for very long in the day. I thought it would be colic but do babies start with colic at 12 weeks? please help! Emma x
12 weeks is quite a common time for colic to start. Evening crying, and unconsolable screaming are characteristic of colic- but babies are not usually very sick. If this was a "one off" it probably is colic- but if it happens very frequently you should consult your doctor.

hi! wen my son was arnd 8wks old he did nothing but cry & was sicking up most of his bottles! they kept tellin me it was colic, but it wasnt! in the end afta 3MONTHS!! of tryin 2 tell them that i knew it was something else i finally got refered 2 pediatrician(baby doc!)he was then diagnosed wiv reflux, so now he has 2 ave infant gaviscon in each bottle! & its been a god send! no more cryin or puke! lol, ur son sounds very similar 2 how my son was, mite b worth askin ur doc or hv! & dont take any rubbish frm them! they tend 2 try & tell u otherwise! us mummys know best! hope this helps u! xx
It could be has has wind try using infacol or woodwards gripe water and see if that will help, to me it sounds exactly what my son went through at his age
