Hi laura just seen ur post they will normally let u go 2 weeks over i have been booked in for induction on the 29th june if nothing has happened, i will be 12 days over.
I had my membrane sweep yesterday and doctor said i was 1cm dilated, i had cramp most of the day yesterday and today and i had a show this afternoon so hopefully it will not be much longer!
I am 39 weeks due on tuesday am so excited but patience is getting the best of me now i just want my baby here, i am really looking foward to the birth i wasnt at first but really cant wait for it, i keep getting pains and cramps and think omg is this it and then i think how will i no if it is the real thing thats what i worry about not knowing if i am in labour, anyone else due around the same time with the same problems?.
hi, i'm due on monday so know just how your feeling,its my first too.strangely just moved to france so all kind of different here too! Don't think my baby has any plans to move soon as head not even engaged.How long do they usually let you go over?

My babys still holding out, I'm booked in for induction friday and seriously don't think this baby will come before then!! At least I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, the glass is half full and all that!!! LOL. But i do no how you feel I really hope you don't go that long over and the membrane sweep works for you. Good look and keep us informed.

My baby does move around he has calmed down a little, i am booked in for a membrane sweep on thursday 19th if i go over due how long should it take to work? just cos his mam and sister go on holiday on the 24th for 2weeks and may not see him before they go.xx
The midwives say that if the sweeps going to work it takes 24-48hrs to work but I had 3 sweeps with my first boy with no success and have had a sweep this time with no success its now 47hrs ago that i had the sweep! They will let you go 2 weeks over due if you and baby are well before they induce you. I'm so fed up I hope you don't have to wait to be induced it's so frustrating. The induction isn't that bad so don't worry bout that.

Hi ur sick of waiting i'm a week overdue, i'm sooo fed up lol!! I was 2 weeks over due with my first so could have another week left! I'm booked in for induction on the 20th but i so hope i don't make that date. I had a membrane sweep yesterday with no success i'm gettin to the end of my tether. The other thing thats really getting on my nerves is everyone keeps ringing me and textin me askin if there is any change i'd let them no if there was for gods sake! I'm having a good old rant here, my patience has also got the better of me lol. Anyways I feel alittle better getting that off my chest, good look and I hope you don't have to wait as long as me!
