Yes you can certainly attend antenatal classes again. Some areas have special classes especially for 2nd /3rd time parents so ask your midwife to see whats available. The National Childbirth Trust also have
refresher classes.
Hi Julia,
I've heard that you can either go to "normal" antenatal classes or to some sort of refresher for second-time mum-to-be! Otherwise, I would say that you might be more than welcome to any NCT classes...
Hope that helps a little bit! Take care. Laetitia
I know this is probably a strange question considering I am not actually pregnant yet, but when I was pregnant with my first child I attended antenatal classes and really enjoyed them and found them very informative, as well as making several friends I still keep in touch with 5 years later. When I do fall pregnant with my second (yes I am an optimist), can I attend these classes again, or is it just for first time mums. As it has been over 5 years since having my last child, I could do with a refresher as I find I have forgotten a lot about the whole birth thing and feel just as nervous the second time round. Does anyone know if I can go again. Thank you. Julia
