My 2 1/2 year old (32mths) son doesn't like cows milk! i give him cow and gate growing up milk but as he is now approaching 3 i don't see how he will continue to get goodness out of it. I've tried heating cows milk like i did with his formula but still not interested! someone also suggested adding a small amount of sugar to cows milk as the formula tends to taste slightly sweeter and then reduce the amount of sugar put in it each time until there is none added however this also didn't work and its not really something i want to be adding to his milk! any ideas how i can wean him on to it??

Yes well the majority of the population have 'ordinary' milk and as we are not vegan i find this quite appropriate for my child, except he does not like the taste of it. I have no intention of giving him soya milk. Ur reply of likening my child to a baby cow has no relevance to my question

Thanx for that, i'll give it a go! I know that maybe he will never take on to it coz i don't like milk myself except on cereal and stuff but wanna do all i can to try to get him on to it!
I'd never dream of using anything but soya or rice milk anyway ,, as we are vegan , cow milk is for baby cows ,

I have the same problem. At the moment I am giving 2 ounces of formula with 3 ounces of cows milk. I'll then cut down the formula gradually in the hope that he will adjust to it - a bit like cutting down sugar in coffee or tea. Maybe you could give that a go. I think it's better than adding sugar to the milk (which I considered) as I'm worried I'll get stuck giving him sugary milk.
