I usually put my little one to bed in a vest when its hot, then if it cools down i put some trousers with feet on them on (which if fairly easy to do without waking her) I cover her with a muslin and a cellular blanket coz its got holes in it (so i think if she puts it over her head she can still breath but i dont know if thats true).

I mainly go by how i feel, if im really hot, i put a vest on her or a short sleeved sleepsuit, if im average or cool i put a sleepsuit on her or if im cold, a vest and a sleepsuit and sometimes the growbag too.

Sometimes I ask one of my friends what their baby is wearing lol.

Hi if it's up to 23c I use a sleepsuit and 1 tog growbag, if its 24c or above a short sleeve vest and growbag. There was one night it was 27c and I just used a sleepsuit nothing else he was fine. The growbag / sleepbags are great, I don't like the sheets either.

Hiya, yeah i think it is one of the hardest decisions...nothings ever black and white! I prefer the bags as well as when she has the sheets on she can move around the cot a lot more and ends up hitting her head on the bars and getting upset!! xx

Hi, it is hard isn't it? Especially when the weather varies from one night to the next. I also use a 1 tog sleeping bag with a vest and sleepsuit, but when it is very hot, like last night was over 25c I put him in just a vest with the sleeping bag. I think the guidelines on the sleeping bags say that you shouldn't use them if it is over 25c and that you should just use sheets but I personally think the sleeping bags are safer than sheets. Hi everyone, I have a 6 month old daughter and i was wondering...as the nights and babys nursery are getting increasingly warmer what does eveyone dress their little ones in for bed and what bedding do you use? I really worry about overheating etc. At the moment i have her in a sleepsuit and a 1 tog sleeping bag, but i don't know if this is too much as the temperature in her nursery is 25C tonight?!?! Any help is much appreciated.
