hello.im a mum to a 13 week old daughter named roxy taiyah and im just woundering if any of you have any tips for me to help her to sleep all the way through the night? i would love any ideas plz help :D x.x.x
Hi. I think you're expecting a lot from a 7 weeks old baby! It sounds to me like you are doing everything right but perhaps you need to adapt your routine for a later bedtime. Maybe bath at 7.30pm, last feed at 8 or 8.30pm and then down to bed? My daughter didn't used to go to bed for the night until around 10.30pm at that age (I'm not saying that's better, just how it worked out for us) and I was breastfeeding her along with a bottle from daddy at 10pm so I could go to bed early. As your little one gets older and stronger you will find that your routines will change and adapt to his changing needs. By 14 weeks my daughter was going to bed at 8pm following her last feed at 7.30 and she was sleeping right through till 6 or 7am. Give him a little more time but keep going the way you are, I think it sounds like you're doing brilliantly!! xxxx
hi u havent said how old he is? You could try not letting go to sleep early eve if poss and then dont let him sleep in living room but put him to bed awake and try to let him get used to getting himself off. I did this with my daughter and shes been brill sleeps from 8-7 no probs getting her off either. Good luck x
Sorry Danni - he is 7 weeks old! Your little girl sounds like a dream! so we will try and stop with early eve sleep and see if that works!
Many thanks!
Kerry

Our little boy Jack finds it hard to get to sleep at night. He often wont go down until 9/10pm. My husband and I bath him at 6pm, put him in his night clothes and then feed him. He often falls asleep but when we put him down, wakes immediately and then won't sleep again for a couple of hours! We are not sure what we are doing wrong. I am breastfeeding and he is feeding approx every 3 hours and usually has a sleep in the morning (Varying between 30mins - 2hours) and then a nap in the afternoon (varying between 30mins and 1 hour 30mins). Then sometimes a nap early evening (40mins). I am desperately trying to get him into some kind of routine, but don't feel I am having much success as he is very unpredicatable!
Any tips?
Kerry
