Just a thought, but try putting the cot on a tilt ( a book under each leg at the head of the bed) as your son may have a bit of reflux, so that when you lay him down to sleep, he may get acid coming up into his throat causing him to cry. Our youngest daughter has it (11 months old) and bedtimes were a nightmare. She sleeps better on a tilt but can still wake at times, we rub her belly which usually helps to get her back off. Your son may not have reflux but having the cot on a tilt will do no harm. Good luck.

i have always stuck to one routine with all mine and used same for all 4 and will for this one it may take a few weeks to get him into a routine but when its established he will stay in it
from birth i always put them to bed around 7 they have a warm bath then bottle a cuddle story as they got older then i put them in to cot and turn a lullaby light on i love the new rainforest sounds one you can buy it has a waterfall and rainforest sounds iqra loves it and falls asleep watching it. the bigger kids have the same routine minus the bottle and lullaby light, bath story bed and they go at 7-7:30pm.
if its been happening since birth he may still have colic try colic drops in his milk or added to his tea and see if that helps. i hope he starts settling soon but any routine you try can take a few weeks before it works everytime

Hi All My baby boy is crying relentlessly before sleeping in the night.We tried all option which we had,nothing worked out. My baby is 7 month old,don't settle in the night before crying for 45 min atleast.Every day we are trying different trick to settle him but non is really working every day Any help will be much appreciated. This is happening since birth. Not much help from Nurse. Thanks in advance
