I've got a friend who's called Blue & it really suits her.

I used to live in the Midlands for a few years and my Father in-law always forgot my name (he forgets everyones) so he would call me and a host of other people "Blue" or "Sunshine". I got to like it, and my mates now call me Blue. Good name, but maybe as a nick name and not a certificate done and dusted forever name.

I think Blue is a lovely name for a boy, not really a girls name though.

hi i have two girls names i love Olivia Lucy and Lucy Jane. my sister has just had a baby girl and she called my neice Lilly Belinda obviously we all call her Lilly-Bell.On your friend calling her baby blue i work in primary school and children can be very mean even at that age i see it all the time a name like that can give children a reason to make their school life a very miserable time.so put this to your friend would she really want to give them any excuse to do that to her daughter.
