thanks guys I will bear these in mind - school finished today so hopefully I won't have a problem over the summer holiday - also discovered that Bicarbonate of Soda paste worked although I left white flakes everywhere

you can get Aspivenin, its like a vacuum device that u can use to suck out poison. but to prevent them in first place, eat less sweet stuff (apparently eating garlic and lemon works too) take vitamin b (if ur allowed to) and also you can put tea tree oil in baby oil and put it on your skin that is exposed
Hi, try Hydrochortizone B1 cream. It's a steroid cream. I suffer from bites, especially those you mention, and was fed up of going to the Dr's every time I got an infected bite. Thd Dr recommended it and I checked if you can still use it in pregnancy and they confirmed yes. You only need a very small amount on the area and it'll reduce the bite and you won't notice it after a few applications. Costs about £4 from Pharmacies - has to be over the counter. Good luck!

My school is infested with Gnats due to being up a mountain and lots of fern and heather.
I have been bitten from head to toe and itch like mad. Most of my bite creams say 'not recommended in pregnancy'. I've tried a mosquito zapper (where you electrocute the area!) but it still itches, tried vinegar but no releif.
HELP - i'm driving myself nuts - any suggestions
