I recently purchased the Maxi Cosi Priori FX (non-isofix) car seat during the John Lewis Clearance Sale for GBP100 which my 6-month old daughter can grow into. It was the aqua-coloured sky diver design. I think this is an impressive piece of kit with it's different sitting and reclining positions. Truly great value for money with all the good stuff written above!!!

There is a colour-coded installation guide with this car seat, which makes for really easy installation, with or without the Isofix system. This is important because sometimes you can worry about safety, if you have installed a seat yourself. The side protection system should also reassure you about your child's in-car welfare.
