Late Periods

Hiya bluesky - im not putting a downer on it cz i have my fingers crossed for you, but it does take upto 1 year for the pill to be out your system. My cycles are 33 days on average and they only settled last month - 5 months after coming off the pill. Because of the pill I never had any period symtoms apart from tummy ache whilst on. Now I get sore boobs & back ache & allsorts, so just be warned that the pill does mess you around once you stop. I dont want you to feel happy & elated, like i did, to be let down - ALTHOUGH I HOPE TO GOD YOU ARE :) xx

well before going on the pill i know i was very regular-looking at about 25-28 days. last month i was 1 week late coming on as as i have said i normally come on half way through my last week of thw pill which would have been last weds. with this in mind am I one week late now as usually i would be on by now as i am regular or should i just count from the 1st day of my last period which would then mean tomorrow is roughly my due day?? my breasts have started to feel sore whilst dancing which never happened before. I have brought some early pregnancy tests so just waiting to do them has very nervous but excited about the outcome!

Hi, I come off the pill in april and my first cycle was 58 day so I missed a month and Im now on day 36 of this one and know Im probably on a 48 day cycle this month as I have been taking my temperature. Everyone if different some go straight back to normal some take year or so (sorry not very cheary) The pill is not true periods and although 28 day is suppose to be 'average' cycle length I read somewhere that only about 17% of us actually have a 28 day cycle. Can you remember what your cycles where like before you took the pill because they may go back to this.

Hi, It can take some people a while before your periods sort them seleves out. I would wait as long as you can before doing a test unless your having huge signs, i came off the pill in feb...good luck Amy

ok guys now i am at the point where i should be on my period. whilst on the pill i always used to come on in my third week of the pack around tuesday and i have only been off the pill for one pack and now i would have been at my week 3 stage so should i come on as normal or will be take while-jus wonderin cos of signs i have been having-i havent been stressin over it so should i wait for another week and then try a test or is it nothing to worry over?
