You have thought of some really good ideas isabel6lb7oz I really love the idea of Holly and Ivy. Alice Holly and freya ivy really pretty. I agree with the pepper sounding ok but i would hate to be called '????? salt' its just not a name if you know what I mean. I think the best way to look at it is would you like to be called it and what would people say, I hate the thought that you have to worry about what other people think but at the end of the day people will have an opinion and they can effect your life. what about the names of 2 gemstone Sapphire, Topaz, Emerald (or Esme if you want it shorter), Ruby (bit to popular), Pearl, Opal, Coral, Jade, Jasper, Amber... etc Freya Pearl sounds lovely
or two flowers indeed! Lily, Daisy, Jasmine, Rose, Poppy, Heather, Iris
or how about Ebony and Ivory or Holly and Ivy
or two herb&spice names Saffron, Rosmary, Clover, Pepper, Jasmine
or two rhyming names like Chloe and Zoe, Maisie and Daisy, Mia and Tia, Lara and Cara etc
Pepper is a cute name but Salt isn't really, just my opinion though.
Sorry if you think i'm hostile, i'm not at any length, i like unusual names. I think the firstnames you have chosen are beautiful, but come on salt and pepper, are you serious???? Think about what kids will say to them at school!!! In a way i think its funny and cute to tie them together as twins but they also need individuality to see different personalities in them both. - Sorry

My wife and I have put oddles and ooddles of time into names and come up with a pair for our twin girls that the whole family like, we like and will not get them laughed at in school; but........
I would like to give them middle names that are fun and reflect the fact that they are twin girls.
So I was thinking of Salt and Pepper.

Sorry I think I was not clear the name of the first girl I 'propose' :) is Alice Pepper (Alice being the first name and Pepper the middle) and the second girl would be matching with Freya Salt (again Freya first name and Salt middle name). Now that I have cleared that up ...... any good? Better or do I have to go back to my wife with tail between legs and accept the not only 'I told you so' but 'silly Daddy, you can at least change diapers... can't you?'

If i was your wife i'd smack you silly. you choose lovely first names that wont get them picked on at school and then you come up with Salt & Pepper!!!!! if thats not called for name calling what is????? try something sensible. People will know they are twins!!!! if you need something to tie them together try Freya Rose / Alice Rose / Freya Lilly / Alice Lilly - at least they are beautiful names of flowers which you will watch to grow up and become exceptional women.
