thanks for this infomation might see if i can get in with my GP, that'll take 3 weeks in any way :-)
Hi I went to see my gp to check I was in good health (asked for a pre pregnancy health check) and to check im was taking the right multi vits. Which Im glad I did now as they picked up I was anemic in the blood test they did. So I could act on it now rather than become worse while pregnant (the growing baby uses alot of your vits especially iron). I decided to go as there was an article on the nhs website advising you to get a health check. Best wishes xx
Hi Hun.
There is no reason to feel like you are wasting their time- I spoke to my gp as I had some problems with my c- section and wanted to make sure I was ok. This is why you pay your NI and how they get paid. I think if you feel you should see someone - then go for- its better to be prepared and know that you are in full health- ready to embark on the most fantastic time of your life!!
Good luck hun xxxxxx
Hi
Just wondered if anyone had an appointment with the midwife to discuss pre-pregancy issues? If so did you come away with any useful info?
I don't want to go and feel like i'm wasting their time.
Thanks
