Trying ovulation kits

hiya, i started using the sticks for the first time this month too. we've been trying for 3 months now so thought we'd try them. they're just meant to give you a good indication when the best time to conceive is, as an egg only lives for 12 hours once released, and sperm can live for 48 to 72 hours. best thing to do is have sex on the 4 days surrounding ovulation.
i know how you feel though, as although we've only tried for 3 months i just want it to happen now!

Hi Ladies# I have been using a clearblue ovulation kit for the first time this week, I kinda misread the intructions and thought it said that the result line has to be darker than the reference line, but when i re-read it this morning it actually says that the result line can be similar to OR darker than, so it turns out i got a positive result yesterday and today...I feel really stupid for that but im not worried as we have been at it like rabbits all week lol, and def gonna be trying tonight lol.. Do they really make a difference, as we have technically been trying since Jan this year and want it to happen so bad.... Are they really worth using...Sorry for the essay
