i was due saturday 9th. so im 4 days overdue now. the midwife came round yesterday and did a sweep and eversince ive had contraction type pains. firstly it was just achy and i didnt bother timing them at all. towards the evening they got stronger and i timed them to be every 7 mins from the start of one to the start of the next, over the next few hours they got to every 4min30.... then i got really tired and decided that if i tried to go to sleep and succeeded then it wouldnt be anything too serious. well i did get to sleep but woke at 2am with more pains, they continued every 3-4 mins (start to start of the next one ) until 4 am when i passed out from exhaustion again!! lol... mum of a 20 months old is tired already without havin to give birth too... lol. anyway, i woke as usual at 6:30 for my son still experiencing these tightening contractions and have now had a show. im hoping i wont have long now........ but still am yet to call anyone n tell em.....
