Thanks for giving me advice. Today, I am five days late for my period, but am having symptoms I usually have for my period. I am tired, but the bleeding stopped completely. I am having headaches and feeling a flutter in my abdomen. Not much to go on, I know, but I did notice some stretch marks on my breast, which makes me think I really am pregnant. I'm waiting until the 1st to test. That way, if my period hasn't come, we know something is going on.
It certainly seems that I'm pregnant. I felt really sick the day after my period was due, and have been dizzy, felt feverish, sleepy, etc.
I have been goin through a simular thing bleeding now on & off for 2weeks. I had a scan last week but they couldnt find the baby just the "sack" so they wern't sure if i'd
miscarried (leaving me really worried, not great on my birthday of all days!), I went back yest for another scan & they found the baby this time & could see a tiny flicker of it's heart beating & told me that the reason they couldn't find the baby last time was because my date were all out & i'm only 6 weeks not 8 as we first thought, so the baby was too small to be seen. My blood test came back fine & i just have to keep resting (due to the feeling tired, sick & faint) & go back in 2weeks for another scan.

it sounds like implantation bleeding,- but just be careful how you get up if your feeling dizzy- u get up too fast and ur head will hit the floor!.. if you have a burning sensation inside tht suggests you may well have a water infection- which by the way is another common syptom/complaint of early preganancy although it can also happen later in pregnancy too- just to put ur mind at rest- brown blood is old blood- and is the bodys way of getting rid of old waste- if you like- .. if its bright red and accompanied by pain- particularly on one side u need to see the GP right away to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. fingers crossed for you and i hope u get the news u want for soon xxxxxxx
I do a test hun cos the stress of thinking you could be pregnant will cause your period to be late!! I did a test when i was 2 days late & it went positive almost straightaway..

hiya, if i were you i'd take a test. if your already late for AF then it'll show up on a test. the waiting may make you stress out a bit and might delay your period if it were due. let us all know how you get on x
Thanks for all the advice. You guys are great. I am happy to say that I have missed my period and am a few days late. I have been dizzy, tired, and yesterday, I started to feel some fluid rising in the back of my throat. No vommiting as of yet. I can see in my husband's eyes that he thinks I'm pregnant. He said we'll test next weekend, if I don't get my period this week.
I was just so wiped yesterday. I must have had a high fever, though I didn't take my temperature. I had chills and was so weak that I had to lie down in bed for a bit. So I think you guys are right. I think I am pregnant.So now, I anxiously await next weekend. It drives me crazy not knowing yet.
I am absolutely desperate for answers. For the past week, I have been spotting light brown. It actually started out dark brown, sort of like a period only darker. Then, as it started to go away, I had some light pink spotting. The spotting/bleeding stopped for one day, but the following day, I started with the light brown spotting again. This has been going on for quite a while now. And the light brown spotting hasn't stopped yet! It comes off and on.
I've noticed that I've been dizzy off and on to the point of not being able to stand up;had back aches, and I have been very tired. I also noticed that my uterus feels different; it kind of hurts when I go to the bathroom, kind of burns inside. Sorry for the graphic detail!
Anyway, I've also been having mild period symptoms (mild cramping, sore breasts, etc.) I've been desiring food more than usual.
I am hoping the light brown and pink spotting are implantation bleeding, but I'm afraid of getting my hopes up too high for fear of being let down.
Has anyone experienced this and been pregnant? Does this sound like implantation bleeding and pregnancy. I'm not sure, because I don't have many of the other common symptoms.
hiya there i had the same symtons with my daughter when i was around 7wks pregnant, what i did was phone nhs direct and they told me to go to the doctors and ask yo be sent to the gynocoligist for a early scan as a heartbeat can b detected from 7wks by ultrasound. i went and they told me it was implantation.i was spotting really dark drown for around 3 days. everything was fine and i now have an very mischevious 19mth old baby girl..
I had a weird period before i found out i was pregnant i was a week late, then i came on, then the next month i was a week late again but 4 sum reason decided to do a test and it was positive. It sounds like uv got cystitus if its burning, ive had it twice its not very nice at all. I'd definately go the doctors and do a urine sample x x x
