Light meals
Cheese or beans on toast with butter
Jacket potato with butter and full fat cottage cheese
Peanut butter sandwiches
Tinned fish on toast
Easy Snacks
Toasted bagel with butter and jam
Cheese and crackers
Puddings
Rice pudding
semolina with full fat milk
tinned fruit with full fat custard
Milky drinks can also be a quick way to get extra calories, try malted drinks or hot chocolate made with full fat milk.
I've just got even worse! Ive started fainting my GP prescribed me fattening milk shakes which have helped me a little i put on half a pound cuz i managed 2 eat some food. Now i've lost it again

After having a baby it is sometimes difficult to find time to look after yourself and eating regularly becomes a challenge. For some people trying to put on weight is just as much of a challenge as most people face when they try to lose it.
Altering your body weight either up or down is a slow process and the aim is for a gradual weight gain of 1-2 lbs per week. The first step is to make time for 3 small meals per day. Eating regularly and establishing a routine will stimulate your appetite and help you to eat the extra calories needed for weight gain. Introducing snacks between meals is also a good way to eat extra nutrients.
The types of foods that you eat are also important, both to help you gain weight, get your confidence back and keep you healthy in the long term. Eating a wide range of foods makes sure you get all the nutrients you need and it may be useful when trying to put on weight to use full fat dairy products, like whole milk and full fat yoghurts or butter instead of low fat spread.
