Hi Sorry i menat how long in the ovary doe sit take for an egg to mature before going into the fallopian tub. As i've only just come off the pill i was trying to work out how people fall streight away.

Im sorry laura i dont understand what you mean...? if you mean how long does it take before implantation after fertilisation then its anything between 7 and 10 days. If you mean between the last egg being released and the next, i would presume it would be your cycle length. We are born with all of our eggs but every month a few mature and just one (or sometimes two hence non-identical twins) pop out. So i would guess after one is released, the next start maturing before another pops on ovulation day....i hope that helps?x

I would presume from the end of your last peroid to being release so about 14-15 days.
No particualr reason just curious
