i came off pill in 4 months ago and haven't got pregnant yet, so think it does take a bit of time to get out of your system. wish they'd tell you this when you go on it....

I was on the pill for 5 years when i came off at the end of February & at the end of May i found out that i was pregnant but my sister came off her pill 3 months before i did & she is still trying, so it definitely does vary hun!!

I am 28 next month and have been taking the pill since I was 14. I stopped taking this in May in the hope of getting pregnant.
I have had 2 months thinking I could be (my cycle is 34 days n I was thinking it would be around 28) but not pregnant has shown on the tests.
I would like to get pregnant as soon as possible and have bought ovulation tests.
Is it true the pill takes upto 6 months to get out of your system or does this vary? Is there anything else I can be doing to help get pregnant? I am taking Pregnare also.
