I recently lost my job due to redundancy and I have an interview with a new employer tomorrow. People have told me I shouldn't mention my pregnancy others have said I should. Please could you provide me with best solution??? Thanks

Even if you're working for someone new you should get maternity pay if you have been working, it's the same amount (I think) and it's for 39 weeks - it's just called maternity allowance rather than statutory maternity pay and you have to pick up a form at the job centre. Hope the interview went well!

I lost my job when I was 3 months pregnant, because I had 2 weeks off really ill and I was on a temporary contract anyway. I got another job but pretended I didn't know I was pregnant and told them when I was 5 months. I had the tiniest bump ever and said I had gone for an ultrasound to see why I was feeling so strange and had found out I was pregnant. It just depends how honest you are and how much you need the job - you probably won't get maternity pay from them but then that's only for 6 weeks normally anyway

How far gone are u? Maybe if your not showing its best to not tell them and then pretend u found out after u got the job. I found out i was six weeks pregnant after 2weeks of starting my new job, 4 weeks later i got the sack and i havent been able to find work since, everywhere ive applied for i told them i was pregnant and no one has ever got back in touch with me. And trust me even though its nice being able to stay at home during ur pregnancy benefits arent easy to live on x x x
