i started to give my 1 year old cows milk about 2 weeks ago. i added water for him to get used to the taste as i didn't want it to be such a shock.then gradually added less and less water, now he drinks just cows milk.make the milk the same as how you used to give him milk (hot, warm or cold)
i'm having trouble trying to make him drink from a beaker :(

hi,it will be hard to start with,i would just say make sure its warm n dont make such a fuss.if hes still not havin it u could try follow on then gradually introduce cows milk. good luck,it worked 4 me xx

Hi. I tried my daughter on cow's milk when she was 12 months but she wouldn't take to it at all. I put her on Follow-on milk formula and just kept trying with the milk every week or two, just a small bit now and then. In the end, she started taking a bottle of slightly warmed milk at bedtime but would still refuse it at breakfast time, insisting on having formula. Eventually at 15 months she took to it and is now having 8oz full fat milk morning and night and water in between. Don't make a big deal out of it if he doesn't want it, if you force it on him he will just push it away all the more. Just keep gently persevering and I'm sure he will take to it eventually. xx

my little girl is just about to turn one and i think its gonna be the same as my sons experiance he hated it to start with he looked at me like i was trying to poison him lol do you heat it up? thats wha helped with me he didnt like it from the fridge also i put in a tiny bit of sugar he liked that and then i gradually stopped putting it in and he didnt notice ;)

my son has just turned 1 and keep trying him with cows milk but he isnt having any of this,is this normal and if it is any tips on how to get him to drink it?thanx
